Reggie's Pet LYvers has been serving the Pet grooming community since 1992. We specialize professional all breed pet grooming and now doggies day care.

Boarding...

For those dogs who need to spend the night, we offer sleepovers in the comfort of home, on beds and pillows. We only use crates if you do.
Mornings begin at 7am with a quick walk in the yard followed by a yummy breakfast. Then, they mix with their day care friends for a full day of play and socializing.

Drop-off and pick-up anytime during store hours. Overnight and weekend boarding for daycare dogs can be arranged separately.

We have created a state-of-the-art, comforts-of-home, facility which raises the quality of pet care to a level unmatched in Keego Harbor, Michigan.

Reggie's Pet LYvers offers:
Doggy day care: dogs play in our designed, secured environment. They can play and are given personal attention by a caring trained staff.
Boarding: your dog will sleep over in a comfort of home environment, on beds, pillows and cots. Your pet will play outside in a designed, totally secured environment. They, play on gym equipment or splash in a "doggie" pool and are given personal attention.
Other Services: Grooming, puppy classes, basic obedience consults, trips to/from vets, special walks and more..

Day Care...
Canine Companions provides a full day of exercise and play in small social groups. Dogs can run outside in a fenced-in yard, play on gym equipment or splash in a "doggie" pool. Inside they have time to rest, snack, chew on a bone or just get lots of attention.

Special Needs Dogs Welcome
Any elder dog or a dog requiring medication, specific diet or special attention will be given plenty of tender loving care. Our staff will work directly with your veterinarian, behaviorist or trainer to see that all needs are met.

How to find a Lost Pet...

Act Fast! Animal shelters in Michigan

About Grooming…

Every dog and cat, whether purebred or crossbreed needs grooming. They are given character by bringing out its best traits and qualities.

The salon's professional staff will have your pet groomed by two and half-hours. This seems to make the most nervous of pooches more relaxed during the next grooming, knowing that they aren't left for the whole day away from their owners.

Your pet must enjoy being groomed and with patience and gentle persuasion any dog or cat can gain confidence to enjoy its next grooming session. Cutting nails too deep that causes bleeding, brush burns caused by abrasion. Bacteria and parasitic cross contamination between animals are very likely in grooming salons, if the premises are not kept clean and disinfected regularly. At Reggie's Pet Lovers, all equipment and tables are disinfected between groomings and a thorough Barbicide scrub is done for all blades at the end of the day.

Our groomers will work with you and your vet to help clear up those pesky skin conditions. We are not only responsible for your pet's aesthetics but it's well being too. The groomers are observant and will highlight to you any health conditions your pet may be suffering from. Reggie's Pet Lovers keeps and updates all our clients records which lists health conditions such as epilepsy, past illnesses and surgeries, veterinarian care recommendations and special care needs.

Our policy emphasizes comfort and safety in a sanitary environment, attention to detail and keeping abreast with the latest grooming techniques and equipment in the industry.

Grooming Tips...

Always brush your long coated cats and dogs before bathing.
If your dog drags its bottom on the floor it is a sign that it has an anal gland irritation.
Start brushing and bathing your puppy early. It will enjoy grooming when it matures..
Clean ears with cotton wool and mild olive oil.
Check dew claws. These nails if neglected may grow too long and become ingrown and infected.
Flaky and scaly skin with odor is a problem skin condition caused by bacteria or fungal infection. Consult your vet
